Hi all...
I cannot undestand that is the problem but in the last day akregator-3.5.5 does not work anymore

On my box, kde-base/akregator-3.5.5 is crashing immediately at startup and show the KCrash dialog. Do you think this the same issue as yours ? akregator always worked fine with me until now.

I found a "solution" for my problem...
I removed the dir ~/.kde/share/apps/akregator and recreated the list of the files...
maybe it can help someone of you...

Thanks Leo, this solved my problem too. I discovered the precise file that caused the error, it was the archive file:

~/.kde/share/apps/akregator/Archive/http___mail.google.com_mail_feed_atom.mk4

If someone would like to try to discover what the problem exactly was with this file, I am able to provide it by e-mail.

If you don't want to loose all your archived files, backup them all and restore them one by one until you find the one corrupted.

Please file a bug upstream if you think the way akregator handles corrupt files is at fault, there's not a lot we can do.
