I can start tha x-server once directly after booting. It works with "/etc/init.d/xdm start" If i log out from a KDE session i dont get kdm but a blank sreen. i also cannot switch to console with ctrl-alt-f1. only remote login helps. here i try to start a new xserver manually but it dont work. So did you try to use some other driver than evdev?
i have read: http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Advanced_Mouse/Individual_Configurations thats why i have done evdev. i thought it is the new and clean way now to use mx900. now i switched to "mouse" driver and it works. thx for help
