There is a little problem in wireshark,when i try to run there is a problem
for example when i run it popup says:

Can't get pathname of Wireshark: PATH isn't set. It won't be possible to capture traffic.
Report this to the Wireshark developers.


but pathname is setted in options.


and when start the analyzer other popup:

We don't know where to find dumpcap.

I can not reproduce your problem. Please, give us more information about your evironment. How do you start the program? What happens if you start it from console?

when i try to start capture... other popup:

We don't know where to find dumpcap.


and dont work. :(

wireshark work if i run it in this mode:

kdesu wireshark

hmm. If running under su -m is important to you I'd suggest you put a bug report in with the wireshark devs.

Glad you found the workaround.
