Description Martin von Gagern 2006-10-18 16:52:14 UTC
This is probably a repetition of bug 138842 which was for 1.5.0.07 and sounds a lot like bug 138407 as well, but this is the only one about 1.5.0.08 that I can see. I once had been using the migration overlay, but not any more. And I just synced, the file definitely isn't on the portage rsync server.

The same happened for dev-java/blackdown-jdk-1.4.2.03-r12
Comment 2 Josh Nichols (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-19 05:17:47 UTC
You probably have a stale java-vm-2.eclass somewhere. The current eclass would use 'sun-jdk-1.5.env'. 'sun-jdk-1.5' hasn't been used for a few months.

Right! Guess I touched that when I started getting problems unmerging packages after deactivating the migration overlay. A portage UNDERlay would be useful, to provide files unless the main portage tree overrides them... :-)

Thanks.
