Enclosed you find the patch for the png8:-qualifier bug (quote from tovid-changelog: Remove png8: qualifier from intermediate output images; was causing problems with some versions of ImageMagick (ultimately resulting in a "Cannot find button N as referenced by subtitle" error from dvdauthor)) in tovid plus an updated ebuild.

The patch needs to go into the files directory under a directory called '0.28'.

This is a known problem and will be fixed in tovid-0.29 but as i don't know when this version is going to be released, i thought it would be a good idea to patch the necessary file and update the ebuild!
