Description Lars Wendler (Polynomial-C) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-15 06:58:56 UTC
Hi,

I just recognized that etpro is installed twice on my amd64 server.
It can be found under /opt/enemy-territory/etpro and /opt/enemy-territory/etpro/etpro
I'll attach the output of equery f enemy-territory-etpro

This should be FIXED now that the new games-mods eclass is in use.
Comment 3 Lars Wendler (Polynomial-C) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-10-02 18:02:10 UTC
Reopening - bug is still existing. emerge --info follows...

Try 3.2.6-r1
Comment 6 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-10-06 00:28:45 UTC
Right. If that works, I'll ask for stabilization on it and remove 3.2.6...
Comment 7 Lars Wendler (Polynomial-C) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-10-06 00:58:58 UTC
D'oh, sometimes I'm soo blind...

of course, enemy-territory-etpro-3.2.6-r1 fixes this. I already installed -r1 on the machine I originally found this bug.
Now I installed etpro on a second server and there I forgot to add this package to package.keywords...
Sorry for the pointless noise :-(

Cheers
Poly-C
Comment 8 Lars Wendler (Polynomial-C) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-10-06 13:06:31 UTC
Now that I installed enemy-territory-etpro-3.2.6-r1 on this server I found a problem with this -r1 version. Since this version installs etpro in /usr/share/games/enemy-territory and not /opt/enemy-territory, I can't start an etpro-server because enemy-territory can't find the etpro-mod.
A simple "ln -s /usr/share/games/etpro /opt/enemy-territory/etpro" fixes this. Could this be incorprorated into the ebuild as well?
Comment 9 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-10-08 17:55:55 UTC
The ebuild should have made the link itself. I'll look into it.
Comment 10 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-11-06 21:08:22 UTC
The ebuild does do the symlink.

Anyway, I've marked 3.2.6-r1 as stable, so I'm marking this as FIXED.
