Description Xavier Neys (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-15 02:52:53 UTC
Please welcome Dimitry Bradt aka diox as our new Dutch translator.
He's passed our devious GDP quiz and has been contributing for a while.
Thanks.

Dimitry, mail your staff quiz and required info including your public SSH DSA key to recruiters@g.o

Ok. I pointed a couple of things about the quiz but in general I as happy enough with the answers. I will set him up later today.
Comment 5 Petteri Räty (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-11-04 07:00:24 UTC
Following things done:
-LDAP
-userinfo.xml
-gentoo-core access
-bugzilla
-cvsdoc/svn groups
-irc cloak (christel)
-announcement on gentoo-dev mailing list

You should now be able to login to gentoo-dev using your ssh public keys. You need to do the following things yourself:
 - subscribe to mailing lists with @gentoo.org mail (you can subscribe only as a poster )
 - copy your ssh keys to .ssh/authorized_keys to get cvs working
 - ask amne or tomk to change your forums account if you have one

As you have talked about becoming an ebuild dev soon, I will leave this bug open.
Comment 6 Dimitry Bradt (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-11-04 11:23:26 UTC
Thx betelgeuse!
I'll finish the ebuild-quiz soon :)

You should get a new mentor for the cvs access as neysx is not an ebuild dev I think. At least no I did not find any ChangeLog entries made by him. So either contact a team you want to join or present me enough new ebuilds to justify giving you gentoo-x86 access.
Comment 8 Markus Ullmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-06-07 19:39:53 UTC
Seems he wants full access now ;)

So I'll mentor him

I've got the quizzes now, and they're approved by Markus.
Comment 11 Christian Heim (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-07-22 16:51:41 UTC
I'm gonna take care of him.
Comment 12 Christian Heim (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-07-26 20:04:31 UTC
OK, I just finished the review session with Dimitry (well, it took us 3 days) where we cleared the last questions about his quiz and the additional questions.

He's read in my opinion.

Diox has been unresponsive and unavailable online, and attempts to contact him over the phone have gone unanswered (messages left/no response). Diox was responsible for the coordination efforts of FOSDEM 2008, which we've seen were dropped. The Events team received no notification of any delays or requests for assistance, and last correspondence while aged indicated diox was handling the event planning. Diox has not worked with Retirement/Undertakers in several months, despite several conversations with myself and phreak in the past indicating that he was back. Diox has not worked with the GWN since the end of the summer.
Due to his lack of contributions, lack of correspondence, and lack of presence I agree with his retirement. He has been sent a second notification of pending retirement, the first went unanswered.

It's christmas (that is the 25th), thus assigning the remaining ones to infra.

In order for us to reinstate him, we need him commenting on this bug personally and explaining his disappearance a year ago or we might end up with the same thing happening again.
Comment 26 Petteri Räty (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-01-08 20:52:45 UTC
Should have also mentioned that reinstating is in general handled like new developers so the staff quiz must be submitted and a review session scheduled.
Comment 27 Dimitry Bradt 2009-01-09 07:16:00 UTC
After a long time of inactivity (switched jobs, moved twice), I now have the time to restart the work at gentoo. Though, i still got a job that asks a lot of me, I'm sure i can find the time to work in the community.

I'll sent the recruiters my staffing quiz today.

Comment 28 Dimitry Bradt 2009-01-10 01:10:49 UTC
quiz sent @ 8:46am localtime (gmt+1)
Comment 29 Xavier Neys (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-01-11 18:24:24 UTC
FYI, diox can be reinstated as a translator (cvstrans iirc) as soon as recruiters are happy with his staff quiz.
