Description Stefan de Konink 2006-10-14 13:16:11 UTC
I installed pulseaudio (>0.9.5) on different machines. Out of the box I allow myself into the pulse-access group. Still on every machine the pulseaudio server fails to bind. I tryed tcp and unix-sockets.

Now pactl list gives an access denied. Am I missing some big point why the standard init.d script doesn't work out of the box? Since I'm working on a new project gTelad which pulseaudio should be transparent layer for. I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong.

Blocker Blocks development and/or testing work of Gentoo as a whole

so if (blocks development || testing work of gentoo as a whole)? or breaks gentoo completely and thus you can't develop or test?

Never the less it blocks development. And yes I read it before I changed it from normal.

Can you give emerge --info output, and the error log?
