bmpx ebuilds use --disable-python directly. It could build the python bindings.

bmpx-python-bindings.patch

Patch against bmpx-0.32.0.ebuild. It works fine for me at compilation time, but I haven't tried if it actually works at run time.

Is there any particular reason you need them? There is nothing using them in the tree at the moment.

Will probably add them in the next version.

No, I don't use them and don't know if there's anything using them. I filed the bug as a reminder.
