Check to see if libXaw is installed then run 'emerge -1 libXaw'. Attach the config.log if it still doesn't work.

I ran into the same problem just now. libXaw was built some time ago without the xprint USE flag, but I was trying to build xman with the xprint USE flag. Rebuilding libXaw allowed xman to build. To the OP, I'd recommend (re)building libXaw with your current USE flags, then try building xman.

I've added a check to pkg_setup() that will die if libXaw is built -xprint and xman is being build +xprint.
