The new behaviour for the gnome 2.16 ebuild seems to be to pull in two of gnome's administrative tools, being pessulus and sabayon. While I completely understand Gentoo's policy of sticking to upstream gnome, I think an exeption should be made in this specific case. The main point is that app-admin/sabayon-2.16 pulls in openldap unconditionally, via python-ldap. For the average gnome desktop user this seems to be overkill. Considering the fact that we allready have some USE flags controlling hefty and potentially unnessecary dependencies, I would like to request the inclusion of a USE flag controlling gnome-2.16's dependency on sabayon.
sabayon is now behind the ldap USE flag in gnome-2.16.0 without a revbump. Thanks!
