Description Elton Algera 2006-10-10 04:29:15 UTC
On my system sys-kernel/openvz-sources-026.018 fails to build:

In file included from arch/i386/kernel/cpu/proc.c:7:
include/linux/vsched.h: At top level:
include/linux/vsched.h:25: error: expected identifier or '(' before 'int'
include/linux/vsched.h:25: error: expected ')' before '==' token
make[2]: *** [arch/i386/kernel/cpu/proc.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [arch/i386/kernel/cpu] Error 2
make: *** [arch/i386/kernel] Error 2

This is possibly an upstream problem, as it also happens with a vanilla kernel manually patched with the patchset from openvz.

cat /usr/src/linux-2.6.16-openvz-026.018/.config | grep vz :

CONFIG_VZ_QUOTA=m
# CONFIG_VZ_QUOTA_UNLOAD is not set
CONFIG_VZ_QUOTA_UGID=y
# OpenVZ
CONFIG_VZ_WDOG=m
CONFIG_VZ_CHECKPOINT=m

cat /etc/portage/package.keywords:

sys-kernel/openvz-sources ~x86
sys-fs/vzquota ~x86
sys-cluster/vzctl ~x86
