Description Joaquin Bravo Contreras 2006-10-09 10:46:55 UTC
pecl-pdo is outdated compared with dev-lang/php (so use of pdo-external is not recommended). So using new options like $conn->setAttribute(PDO::ATTR_EMULATE_PREPARES, true); produce an error.

There's no newer version released, nothing we could do here.

you're right. My bad. Sorry, had to do an emerge --sync first. But still, what testing is needed to make pdo-1.0.3 and pdo-mysql-1.0.2 stable? Something i could help with?

*pecl-pdo-1.0.3 (29 Sep 2006)

  29 Sep 2006; Sebastian Bergmann <sebastian@gentoo.org>
  +pecl-pdo-1.0.3.ebuild:
  Version bump for bug #132639.

Needs to be in testing for at least 30 days per our policy. Feel free to reopen then for stabilization. Thanks.
Comment 4 Joaquin Bravo Contreras 2006-10-09 21:59:00 UTC
versions 1.0.3 of pecl-pdo and 1.0.2 of pecl-pdo-mysql are marked stable upstream. Testing needs to be done on gentoo to mark it stable too.
Comment 5 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-10 00:07:50 UTC
Did you read above? Esp. the "needs to be in testing for at least 30 days per our policy" before marking stable?
Comment 6 Joaquin Bravo Contreras 2006-10-10 08:14:15 UTC
It also said: "Feel free to reopen then for stabilization. Thanks."
I'm not meaning to be rude here. Did I reopnened it correctly? Does it need a special option? Or reopnened somewhere else?
Comment 7 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-10 10:48:07 UTC
Needs to be in the tree for _at least_ one month before marking stable. Reopen AFTER it's been at least 30 days.

Woups! Please accept my apologies then.
My english played bad on me this time.
