Description Christian Weiske 2006-10-08 02:09:33 UTC
After emerging app-editors/joe-3.5 in a clean environment (no previous /etc/joe/* files), I get a mass of config errors when running joe (see first log). When starting from /etc/joe/ working dir, I get even more errors (see second log).

hmm, these kinds of errors are usually produced when trying to use an older version of joe with config files of a newer version.

Did you have any other version of joe installed before emerging joe 3.5?

What's the output of this command?:

which joe

You were right. I completely removed joe and guess what - in /bin/joe still was joe 3.0. I guess something must have been broken when updating from 3.0 to 3.2 or 3.1. Anyway, everything works fine now!
