I recently ran into this problem as well; here's the fix. Go to the line in gweled-0.7.ebuild that contains the 'emake' command and change it to: emake LDFLAGS="-Wl,--export-dynamic" || die "emake failed" Then rerun ebuild ("ebuild gweled-0.7.ebuild digest") and you should be able to emerge it fine. Fixed in CVS with append-ldflags (you should never manually set LDFLAGS in an ebuild)...
