In two years I have not received a single mail over this alias that was not a) spam or b) a bounce from a mailserver that didn't accept spam. The only reference on gentoo.org I could find is a little paragraph in the ebuild howto: "It is best to not use arch-maintainers@gentoo.org, adding architecture teams onto a bug's CC list individually instead." I think the alias is more of an annoyance then useful, removing it would be beneficial. Also CCing the affected arches so they can throw in their $0.02
full ack from me. I see no reason keeping this alias.
+1
vape it :) +1 from me
I have gotten mail from that alias... from my universities malformed spam-rules... I say laser the thing, since the university support team just told me to email the supervisor (which I did on Friday) and he'd bring it up at the next meeting. Would be quicker to zap it now than wait on PSU/OIT.
kill it.
alias + bugs pulled.
