libegg code in gnome-python-extra has a bug about transparency for tray icons. The problem (with the patch) is described here: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=150726

The patch isn't applied against the file egg/tray/eggtrayicon.c in gnome-python-extra (and the same error exists in Gnome CVS code).

Run examples/egg/trayicon.py to show the problem.

dev-python/gnome-python-extras-2.19 sports this fix and is stable on all arches, closing.
