After syncing, emerge now wants to downgrade openldap from 2.3.27 to 2.3.24-r1. Changelog reveals that this is due to a cleanup of the tree, which apparently removed the latest stable version 2.3.27. Was this intended? I cannot see any reason at the moment (no open bugs concerning this special version) to force a downgrade. Maybe one of the 2.3.27-r{1,2} ebuilds should go stable then? BR, Dustin
2.3.27 has never been stable anywhere, fix your /etc/portage/package.keywords http://sources.gentoo.org/viewcvs.py/gentoo-x86/net-nds/openldap/openldap-2.3.27.ebuild?hideattic=0&rev=1.2&view=markup
The link that you gave shows KEYWORDS="~alpha ~amd64 ~arm ~ppc ~ppc64 ~sparc x86" So 2.3.27 was stable for x86.
Eh, no idea why it was stabilized...
Changelog: [snip] 19 Sep 2006; Joshua Jackson <tsunam@gentoo.org> openldap-2.3.27.ebuild: Stable x86; bug #144862 [snap]
I have neither but recovered the dead file now
