Description Dustin Polke 2006-10-04 10:54:34 UTC
After syncing, emerge now wants to downgrade openldap from 2.3.27 to 2.3.24-r1.

Changelog reveals that this is due to a cleanup of the tree, which apparently removed the latest stable version 2.3.27.

Was this intended? I cannot see any reason at the moment (no open bugs concerning this special version) to force a downgrade.

Maybe one of the 2.3.27-r{1,2} ebuilds should go stable then?

BR,
Dustin

2.3.27 has never been stable anywhere, fix your /etc/portage/package.keywords

The link that you gave shows

KEYWORDS="~alpha ~amd64 ~arm ~ppc ~ppc64 ~sparc x86"

So 2.3.27 was stable for x86.

Eh, no idea why it was stabilized...
