Description Gary HUnt 2006-09-30 19:19:13 UTC
When using an ATI 8500LE using open source drivers (r200) in XGL server using compiz

6.5.1_pre20060714, 6.5.1_pre20060716, 6.5.1_pre20060810, 6.5.1-rc1 give great XGL performance when moving windows around the screen.

Newer versions such as 6.5.1_pre20060831, 6.5.1-r1 are very choppy.

Always reproducible.

Please attach /etc/X11/xorg.conf, /var/log/Xorg.0.log, and output of `LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxinfo` and reopen.

Are you still using Xgl, or are you using AIGLX? Please re-open when you respond.
