it would be great so see locales in seamonkey, like we have in firefox or openoffice. I tried to add support for locale to the ebuild of seamonkey-1.0.5 by myself, but due to the fact that the xpi (at least the de-AT, didn't try any other) doesn't contain an install.rdf but rather an install.js and install.properties the command "xpi_install" failes. BTW. seamonkey-1.0.7 currently supports: SHORTLANGS="be-BY ca-AD cs-CZ de-AT es-ES fr-FR he-IL it-IT pl-PL ru-RU" (from http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/releases/1.0.7/contrib-localized/ ) just update this line in the attached seamonkey ebuild.

I don't think this is possible. The xpi's are missing the install.rdf file needed for installing them.

This is fixed with seamoneky-2. We already have seamonkey-2.0_rc1 in the tree but p.masked currently.
