Well, your gcc did segfault, not even apparent where, since you need MAKEOPTS="-j1" for the output to be useful. Also, set you locale to C when reporting bugs.

Can you reproduce the problem, i.e. does it fail repeatedly at *exactly* the same place? If you can, we need the preprocessed source, otherwise you have HW issues.
