Description Albert Zeyer 2006-09-29 11:15:28 UTC
Hi

I use an iBook, that means, I have a PPC and therefore, I could not use the ATI binary modules. Therefore, I am using Mesa 6.5.1-r1 and I tried out Compiz 0.0.13_pre20060928 (with compiz-aiglx; no Xgl at all).

It starts fine and it seems to be stable, except my problem:

Everything is so blue!
See the attached screenshot. :)

I forgot one important information:

I always got this message after starting compiz-aiglx:

compiz: No stencil buffer. Clipping of transformed windows is not going to be correct when screen is transformed.

Comment 6 Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2007-01-28 12:21:47 UTC
hopefully fixed in latest versions
Comment 7 Albert Zeyer 2007-02-02 19:14:47 UTC
It's still blue in 3.6.

But as written here, it seems Xorg-related:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=392453;msg=20

I have installed xorg-server-1.1.1-r4. I will see if I have time to try out xorg-server-1.2.0 later.

I reopen this bug, as it still occurs. I will report, if a new Xorg fixes this for me.
Comment 8 Albert Zeyer 2007-02-02 20:41:08 UTC
The blue bug is gone with xorg-server-1.2.0.

I have other problems with Compiz though, but I think I can close this bug.
