please try 4.3.10

Well, it resolves the dependencies, there're no doubts about that. But this box is a 
file/printer server, it doesn't need X.

well .. since gtk needs X i don't see what i can do here w/o breaking gtk stuff ..

I guess I'll stick with 4.3.8-r1 until I get a faster box, or a bigger hard drive :-)

gimp-print-cups is no longer in portage...
