I suggest to include the yacleaner script (see http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-337074.html or http://www.freewebs.com/quosek/yacleaner-0.3.3) in the gentoolkit package. It's really handy!

There exist a lot of other similar cleaning tools
But one of them should be included, right

eclean is already included in gentoolkit which does the same thing.

Nom it doesn't. From the manpage: "eclean is a small tool to remove obsolete portage sources files and binary packages." yacleaner also removes temporary build files from canelled merge processes and obsolete log files.
