Description Marco Gruss 2006-09-26 16:34:20 UTC
Trying to install Frozen Bubble; emerge fails in the very beginning.

You should add the contents of `/usr/share/aclocal/libtool.m4' to `aclocal.m4'.
am-wrapper: /usr/bin/aclocal-1.4 is missing or not executable.
Please try emerging the correct version of automake.
autoheader-2.59: error: AC_CONFIG_HEADERS not found in configure.in
am-wrapper: /usr/bin/automake-1.4 is missing or not executable.
Please try emerging the correct version of automake.
configure.in:3: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
      See the Autoconf documentation.
configure.in:4: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_CONFIG_HEADER
configure.in:9: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_PROG_LIBTOOL

!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, and the call stack if relevant.

This happens during ./bootstrap.sh in the frozen-bubble-server-0.0.3 dir:

frozen-bubble-server-0.0.3 $ ./bootstrap.sh
autoheader-2.59: error: AC_CONFIG_HEADERS not found in configure.in

Apparently, the problem is with autoconf/automake/whatever...

Here's my emerge info (I'm running a 32bit system on a 64bit kernel):
