Description Andrei Ivanov 2003-02-01 10:58:23 UTC
... but there is no package named that way. A quick search revealed that a
package named cmd5checkpw exists. I saw the error when I ran emerge -up world,
but with no indication of which package required md5checkpasswd. Shouldn't
emerge give a more detailed error, so I wouldn't have to use rgrep on the
portage tree ?

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge sync
2.export ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86"
3.emerge -up world or emerge -u qmail

Actual Results:
emerge: there are no masked or unmasked ebuilds to satisfy ">=net-
mail/cmd5checkpasswd-0.22".

Expected Results:
this form sucks... the older one was better.

Portage 2.0.46-r9 (default-1.0, gcc-2.95.3, glibc-2.2.5-r2,2.2.5-r7)
