emerge wine &> wine.bug
Comment 3 Chris Ashton 2006-09-27 21:23:45 UTC
I have the same problem. Just did an emerge -e world, and it didn't fix it. Not sure what the problem is beyond the obvious including both x86 and amd64 version of each file.
Comment 4 Gabriel Misailidis 2006-09-30 06:08:09 UTC
I had the same problem.I revdep-rebuild -p. gcc-3.4.6 and gcc-4.1.1 had to be rebuilded.I re setted the gcc-3.4.6 with gcc-config and then rebuild.

After that. i emerged wine and had no problem.

# wine --version
Wine 0.9.22

(the error output of the emerge was the same, apart the fact this is the 0.9.22v of wine)
If someone tries that , just inform the report.(i hope it will help)

I did revdep-rebuild.gcc-3.4.6 and gcc-4.1.1 needed to be rebuild.I re-setted the gcc-3.4.6 with gcc-config then rebuilded. The emerge of wine was a success after that.
# wine --version
Wine 0.9.22
I had the same error-output.I hope this will help.

my guess is you guys had eselect-compiler and rebuilding gcc forced gcc-config to replace the eselect wrappers
