I'd like to contribute a small patch to the LIRC (app-misc/lirc) ebuild that allows it to support ATI's Remote Wonder Plus.  The RWP works with the "atiusb" driver, but has a different initialization sequence.  With this patch and a suitable lircd.conf, the RWP works perfectly.

The attached patch is based on lirc-0.8.0-r5.ebuild .
