The license specified in the xrick ebuild is GPL, however the game includes data files that the developer apparently has no right to distribute[1]. As much as I don't want to see xrick removed, it clearly shouldn't be in the tree as-is. At the absolute minimum nomirror should be set, as currently the Gentoo mirrors are carrying files they have no permission to distribute because of this package. I'm struggling to see a correct resolution here, but luckily for me I can just file a bug and leave up to someone else :) My first "solution" was to suggest shipping the game engine and telling users they need their own data files, but it isn't even as simple as removing the data files.
