Description Scott M. Ferris 2006-09-25 10:30:24 UTC
None of my mirrors has the sparse-2006.09.23 tarball, so it was downloaded from the SRC_URI:

The file dates in http://www.codemonkey.org.uk/projects/git-snapshots/sparse/ make me wonder if they're rebuilding the snapshot files more than once per day with the same filename. Perhaps the checksums in portage were for an earlier version of the file for that day. It installs fine if I update the checksums with:

Comment 1 Scott M. Ferris 2006-09-25 11:27:09 UTC
It appears that the snapshot files are updated hourly. I'd recommend using the 23:00 file from the previous day when updating the ebuild in portage, since 23:00 appears to be the last update of each day.
Comment 2 Mart Raudsepp gentoo-dev 2006-09-26 14:04:58 UTC
Updated digest in portage.
Hopefully no gentoo mirrors carry an older snapshot. My used mirrors didn't have the tarball at all, so the digest should be for the 23:00 one now.
