emerging this version of sane backends fails

updating to version sane-backends-1.0.18-r2 leads the same error

Is it possible that you set your SANE_BACKENDS variable to sane-plustek? If no, sorry and please re-open this bug. If yes, please do not set this variable to backends that don't exist :-)
