Adding a "debug" useflag to e17 and the Enlightenment Foundation Libraries (ecore, eet, evas, edje and embryo, if I'm not mistaken) that would build them with debug symbols would be very helpful for the project itself and for users (like myself) who want to help, by making it easier to gather and send debug information.

And for someone with good knowledge of ebuilds this should be a breeze to implement. :)

no, that isnt what USE=debug is for
