dev-lisp/cl-ucw and dev-lisp/cl-icu (among others) are package.masked with the comment "Removing these bese project ebuilds in favour of darcs ebuilds. Upstream does not make releases.", however there are no darcs ebuilds in the tree for cl-ucw or cl-icu. Is this just an oversight, or are they really being removed?

Bugzilla is not exactly for questions.
OK, maybe I phrased it poorly, but the point is, I want to report that the ebuilds are apparently missing. That seems like a valid use of Bugzilla to me. *shrug*
A replacement for dev-lisp/cl-ucw is in the works. cl-icu is obsolete as I undertand it.
David, are you still interested in these?
(In reply to comment #4) > David, are you still interested in these? > I wouldn't mind having UCW, but not for any "real work", just to play with. Don't put any effort into it on my account. As for ICU, I only wanted it because it was a dep, so if comment #3 is correct then I don't care anymore.
cl-icu which is apparently obsolete has been removed, cl-ucw is gone. Open a new bug if you want. The rest have a snapshot dated 20060825 in the tree. I think we can close this now.
