Description Roel Brook 2006-09-21 02:10:32 UTC
Title says it all...

ICC should depend on app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-compat. Otherwise icc will give the error "error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
Comment 1 Luca Barbato gentoo-dev 2006-09-21 02:14:08 UTC
maybe virtual/libstdc++
Comment 2 Roel Brook 2006-10-08 12:46:41 UTC
virtual/libstdc++ was installed, but still the error is thrown. I guess icc really needs the x86 libs to operate...
Comment 3 Simon Stelling (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-03 02:01:00 UTC
hard to get the distfiles (needed for the commit), let's hope Danny still has them around
Comment 4 Eric Thibodeau 2007-03-16 21:37:10 UTC
I second that motion... Also had the problem.
Comment 5 Sébastien Fabbro (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-11-15 20:46:45 UTC
Fixed in current icc versions.
