Please, always stick ebuild name and version into bug summary. Now, did you try to recompile gdbm?
You need to add the gdbm use flag in your make.conf file, then re-emerge python. The new pyzor-0.4.0-r3 ebuild warns the user if the gdbm useflag is not set.
