Build Identifier:

I tried to update courier-imap to 1.6.2-r1 and it keeps configuring. The first
configure is slightly different from the others but the 2nd and after are all
identical.
Attached is the first 3 configure steps.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge -u courier-imap
Actual Results:
Keeps trying to configure the source code

Expected Results:
One or two configure but no more (or at least they should all be different)

Oops, sould have use a tool for the comparison instead of my eyes. The configure are not all the same, they are configuring different components. I don't remember seing that for the previous version of courier-imap. I'm confounded, sorry guys.

It will actually go through and configure approximately 12-15 subdirectories so it will look like things are running over and over... can you post a bit more so i can actually see the loop? Does the 1.7.0 build do the same thing?
Comment 4 Nahor 2003-02-01 21:26:16 UTC
It wasn't looping. It was my mistake. All the configures looked the same so I reported it. But after I looked more carefully to what I reported and I saw a different "configure: configuring in XXX" line each time. So I let the install go longer and it did finish.

I would have reported the bug as INVALID already but I don't have the permission for that. Sorry for the false alarm.
