User-Agent: Build Identifier: GRP package for mozilla on i586 1.4_rc2 Livecd is missing two cruicial tarballs One of them is the Mozilla tarball it's self and then the blackdown... something is missing too The GRP install does what it can but only a couple of supporting apps get installed, not mozilla itself (it's missing!) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Get to the steps in chapter 15 of http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-x86- install.xml#doc_chap15 2. cd /GRP 3. sh grp-install.sh mozila<whatever>.txt 3. watch it error at you and fail Actual Results: Some of the dependency apps (which WEREN'T missing from /GRP/All) built. Mozilla itself and blackhawk<something I don't recall and don't have it handy> do not build as their tarballs are missing from /GRP/All OK... I guess that covers it Expected Results: It should have installed Mozilla! What kind of question is that? ;)
Here's the actual error: cdimage GRP # sh grp-install.sh mozilla-list.txt Welcome to the GRP CLI install tool >>> mozilla-list.txt confirmed >>> parsing pkg lists >>> All/blackdown-jre-1.3.1-r7.tbz2 doesn't exist, this is not good >>> Package set incomplete and may not function correctly >>> All/mozilla-1.0.1-r3.tbz2 doesn't exist, this is not good >>> Package set incomplete and may not function correctly ............ The build completes minus these two packages... this is very bad
We've moved to a new GRP system that doesn't use the grp-install.sh script anymore, so closing this bug.
I apologise for this bugspam, but I wish to close this product, so I need to move all the bugs.
