Description SpanKY gentoo-dev 2006-09-16 23:48:29 UTC
i cant seem to figure out how to make this happen, but ive seen a bunch of packages now with portage-2.1.1 resume incorrectly ... for example:

# emerge cross-mingw32/mingw-runtime
>>> Emerging (1 of 1) cross-mingw32/mingw-runtime-3.9 to /
 * mingw-runtime-3.9-src.tar.gz MD5 ;-) ...                           [ ok ]
 * mingw-runtime-3.9-src.tar.gz RMD160 ;-) ...                        [ ok ]
 * mingw-runtime-3.9-src.tar.gz SHA1 ;-) ...                          [ ok ]
 * mingw-runtime-3.9-src.tar.gz SHA256 ;-) ...                        [ ok ]
 * mingw-runtime-3.9-src.tar.gz size ;-) ...                          [ ok ]
>>> Checking mingw-runtime-3.9-src.tar.gz's mtime...

It's because you have FEATURES="keepwork". Maybe we should blacklist that in emerge like we do with "noauto".
Comment 2 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2006-09-17 00:02:44 UTC
ah yes ... this is not a regression then as i recall this has been the behavior for quite a while

i was working on something else which is why i had export FEATURES=keepwork in my shell env (and why i couldnt reproduce in other new shells)

might be useful to `rm -rf` the builddir when doing `emerge` ...

We've had this helpful warning message for some time now:
