Attached is a little script to put in /etc/cron.daily which will update the
locate database. It's basically a copy/paste of the makewhatis.cron script.
And like the makewhatis, the script is disabled by default (line commented out)

path fixed

oops, previous script had an incorrect path to updatedb

PS: I can't obsolete previous script

fixed with latest findutils and slocate
