Description John Sutherland 2003-01-29 16:58:46 UTC
If you emerge with MAKEOPTS=-jx wher x is > 1, mgetty will not emerge, has
errors about a file being tructated.

Setting MAKEOPTS=-j1 works.

version: net-dialup/mgetty-1.1.28

does setting emake to make within the ebuild fix the problem?

Dear bugwrangler!

Heh, sorry for the reassign but i have a problem with this bug:

mgetty depends on tetex. Run 'emerge -s tetex' and check the "Size of downloaded files:" part. Gosh, ~85MB - this will take 3-4 hrs on my slow dial-up link - for a package i did never see before. Assign this bug to a dev with more bandwith, please. (I dont want to complain, but i only have 120hrs/month - wasting it like this is not wise)

Sorry for this.

added a || make failthrough in the ebuild, so this issue should go away.
