Description Anatoly Yakovenko 2006-09-12 13:25:58 UTC
when starting opera i get this error:

$ opera
Inconsistency detected by ld.so: ../sysdeps/i386/dl-machine.h: 554: elf_machine_rel_relative: Assertion `((reloc->r_info) & 0xff) == 8' failed!

i have tried emerging opera with and without the static flag, with and without aspell and gnome. I cant figure out whats causing this bug.

this is my make.conf:

# These settings were set by the catalyst build script that automatically built this stage
# Please consult /etc/make.conf.example for a more detailed example

USE="alsa -arts -esd -eds dbus -gnome -gtk -gstreamer hal kde -ldap nptl nptlonly -pam xinerama -xmms"

FEATURES="ccache confcache parallel-fetch"
CCACHE_SIZE="2G"

You'll need to ask upstream, we can't fix binary stuff.
