Emerging kdeaddons-3.1 fails because the linker could not link to -lesd. After emerging esound 
things went smoothly.

Did you perhaps have esound emerged before, and unmerged it later? Did you have USE esd 
on? 
The exact output of the failure would also help, perhaps it tried to link to lesd because some .ls 
file of another lib had it.

Hmmm, I know I was playing around with esd in order to get network sound working. I'm pretty 
sure I started fiddling with esound _after_ emerging kde. 
 
I don't have the exact output anymore :-( It was just a simple link error by ld. 
 
My USE flag does not contain esd. 
 
If I'm the only one that had this problem I probably broke something. I plan on installing the 
same setup in the near future again. I'll see how it behaves then. 
 
Should I close the bug for now?
