Description Daniel Peters 2006-09-11 12:38:02 UTC
When emerging, the colors in console output (e.g. "Emerging (6 of 59)") are not adjusted according to /etc/portage/color.map. This is probably because the mappings (parse_color_map in line 166) are applied after the constants (lines 120ff) in /usr/lib/portage/pym/output.py.

 Daniel

Actually, that specific color is adjustable via MERGE_LIST_PROGRESS. The intention is to add more color classes so that users can map classes to colors instead of colors to colors.

Zac: so any reason to keep this open?
