checking "LinuxThreads"... "Not found"
configure: error: This is a linux system and Linuxthreads was not
found. On linux Linuxthreads should be used.  Please install Linuxthreads
(or a new glibc) and try again.

...so I guess this version should be retired from portage -- or at least rdepend on <glibc-2.4

MySQL 3.23 is unsupported.

..then the ebuild should be removed from portage, shouldn't it? :)
