Description Conrad Kostecki gentoo-dev 2006-09-08 16:06:53 UTC
Hello Jacub :)
As you said, i have to open a new bug report!

-> http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=111668
-> http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141270

This Bugs can be closed now. I will post the diff from 1.3.0-r1 to 1.3.0-r2 and the final ebuild.

Main Features are between 1.3.0-r1 and 1.3.0-r2:

-> Updated mod_clamav to v0.4
-> new Mods: mod_ban, mod_case, mod_deflate, mod_exec, mod_gzipfs, mod_md5fs
-> sendfile removed as requested

Ebuild works fine for me! I can compile and the mods are working for me.

mod_clamav updated and PAM linkings fixed in net-ftp/proftpd-1.3.0-r2.
Will look at the other new modules later, so keeping this bug open for now.
Best regards, CHTEKK.

i've forgotten the nls use-flag. note, the nls flag breaks the quota engine: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-541019-highlight-proftpd.html
Comment 12 Luca Longinotti (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-04-17 08:01:35 UTC
Modules mod_ban, mod_case, mod_deflate and mod_gzipfs added in proftpd-1.3.1. I will not add mod_exec, given its possible negative security implications, and mod_md5fs, as I can't really see its use in a production environment.
You can maintain your own slightly patched ebuild if you really need those two.
Best regards, CHTEKK.
