Description Linus van Geuns 2006-09-08 11:32:40 UTC
When I try to burn a file.iso nautilus-cd-burner reports "There was an error writing to disc." in the dialog box and "(nautilus-cd-burner:17400): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_error_free: assertion `error != NULL' failed" on the console.

Building it with USE=degub didn't increase the verbosity.

I killed gnome-volume-manager, put the cd-r out & in and tried again - same result.

cdrecord -dao -speed=8 dev=/dev/hdc /path/to/file.iso burns the file on the same drive with the same CD-R.

Can you please get a backtrace (with debugging symbols) of this? And also check if the problem exists in 2.16.
