Description Luca 2006-09-07 09:35:03 UTC
Hi to all!
In livecd, if you input number for the keyboard layout instead of initials, you can't switch layout.
You got this error:

Error activating XKB configuration.
It can happen under various circumstances:
 - a bug in libxklavier library
 - a bug in X server (xkbcomp, xmodmap utilities)
 - X server with incompatible libxkbfile implementation

X server version data:
The X.Org Foundation
70000000

If you report this situation as a bug, please include:
- The result of xprop -root | grep XKB
- The result of gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd

With initials (like it instead of 21) all is fine

Luca

Yeah, that's actually a genkernel thing, since it's all done by genkernel. I'm reassigning this there.

OK. I *think* I have this one fixed in SVN.

Fixed in 3.4.6
