Description Reik Keutterling 2003-01-28 05:07:48 UTC
The Problem is that my XFree86 4.2.1 segfaults with an signal 11 :(
which informations did you need??
Comment 1 Rutger Hendriks 2003-01-31 06:54:59 UTC
I'm having the same problem. I have tried different OO versions (1.0.2, 1.0.1-r3) and have also tried merging openoffice-bin (1.0.2 and 1.0.1). All have the same result. It says "running openoffice.org setup" and then crashes xfree-4.2.1-r2. If you need more info please tell me - Loial
Comment 2 Seth Chandler 2003-01-31 19:04:54 UTC
well jeez, i don't have any idea what could be causing this...

could you run an strace on it?

it'd be interesting to see where it segfaults

Comment 3 Reik Keutterling 2003-01-31 19:43:10 UTC
On OO or on the complete Xfree?

i think this definetly a Xfree Problem cause after i emerged xfree-4.2.99.4 the same OO worked fine...
Comment 13 Rutger Hendriks 2003-02-03 14:00:32 UTC
I will try installing xfree-4.2.99-r4, maybe that'll help for me too
Comment 14 Rutger Hendriks 2003-02-05 07:11:21 UTC
Updated Xfree to latest beta (4.2.99.4) and now openoffice-bin works.
Will try openoffice next but that might take a while ;-)
Comment 15 Rutger Hendriks 2003-02-06 08:41:38 UTC
openoffice-1.0.2 now works too
