Description Timothy Stotts 2006-09-06 19:32:08 UTC
Hi. I must point out that the biblestudy application should not depend upon a portage ebuild of sword modules. It should be up to the user to install whatever modules they see fit.

For example. Assume that the user's native language is German, and they have no knowledge of English beyond UNIX/Linux commands. If you emerge bibletime (another sword GUI, like biblestudy), then no modules are installed. The user manually installs whatever modules they wish to use, such as, say, 5 German texts. However, if they install biblestudy, then a large selection of English texts (50-100 MB worth to download and install) are installed automatically. No other frontend for sword has such a dependency, nor should they. It restricts the user's freedom. If you want the ebuild to *suggest* emerging a prepackaged set of texts, that would OK.

BUG is that biblestudy depends upon
