/etc/skel/.bashrc today has

# Change the window title of X terminals
case $TERM in
        xterm*|rxvt|eterm)


But there is no such thing as eterm and should be
either eterm|Eterm or just |Eterm), but i guess both are preferable for compability.

he is correct, eterm sets the env var to Eterm ...

I do use e/Eterm.

Both should be set. ;)
